A new story from The Peckham House For Invalids, telling the story of how Deaf teenage superheroine Emily Downings was forced to leave her loving family at the cooperage where she lived in Deptford. We also learn more of the menacing powers and brutality of Mr Carl Foxleigh and Mrs Myrtle Morrison.
